Daemon tools lite 10 has stopped working...

I used to love Daemon Tools. Now I don't. Every update seems to bring new bugs making it unusable. I've paid for it, so I'll use it a bit longer and also in the hope that it finally returns to the greatness it used to be.

So - updated to 10.3 + now getting error: "Mount switch syntax error" Worked before update. Mounting via command line:

"C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTAgent.exe" -mount SCSI, "I:\GEmvoyTests\Quicklaunch\Playstation\Tomb Raider 4 The Last Revelation.7z\Tomb Raider 4 - The Last Revelation [U] [SLUS-00885].ccd"


Last email I sent to the customer support was ignored - no response. Poor show.

Hi, I want report a bug of the ram disk: when I create it, at reboot I must recreate newly...my request is that if I crete a ramdisk, when reboot my pc the ramdisk is automatically recreate.

BUG: DTLite renames my bin and cue files when i mount zome zips

* The bug/problem
I have a zip file that is over 22 characters long, that contains a cue and a bin file named
40 Winks Conquer Your Dreams.bin
40 Winks Conquer Your Dreams.cue

when I mount that zip file both the bin and cue become named 40_Winks.{bin|cue}
and hence the cue cannot fulfil its purpose of mounting the bin

(When the zip file is named with >22 chars, the bin and cue are mounted with correct names)

* Operating System and any major updates
Win 10
Version 10.0.10586 Build 10586


* Version of DAEMON Tools
DTLite 10.4

ALL burning software or other cd emulation software (also indicate if you have, or have ever had, Easy CD/DVD/Media Creator installed)
* None, no
ALL security, anti-virus, etc... software
* Windows Defender

* FULL hardware specification (motherboard, cpu, chipset, etc...)
Occurs on 3 different systems

* Also include any relative error entries from event viewer (start -> run -> eventvwr.msc); e.g. SPTD, cdrom errors, etc...

Bitlocker encrypted VHD not mounting

I have encrypted my VHD with a password through bitlocker. When I try to mount it with Daemon Tools Ultra, I get the error Access denied. With the disk manager of Windows, I can mount the image and I'm prompted to enter the password when I try to access the drive. Please add support for encrypted VHD's.

ISZ images not completely supported!

Hi!

.ISZ files are not completely supported in Daemon Tools!

Make an ISZ file with the newest UltraISO using the "Heavy Compress" as compression method.

Now try to mount that in Deamon Tools!
It won't be usable/readable! (even the Drive can't be opened!)

PLEASE fix it!

I have a lot of ISZ files with heavy compression,
and it has been a year now i have to use gBurner because that is the only one which can open them.
I do not want to use gBurner, i want to use Daemon Tools!

PLEASE fix it!

McAfee VirusScan has detected malware in the latest update download/install of Daemon Tools Lite.
Error logged by McAfee:

Portable mode broken in v10

I've installed the latest DTLite v10 on a Windows 7 machine.
Then i've followed thid guide to create a portable installation and uninstalled the app from the control panel.
But now the program is not loading anymore.
Maybe the portable mode is broken in v10?

Hi!

First time ever i have problem with this software.

When it's installed and i try to start it it just says:

Error Temp Directory has more than 65535 folders inside.

And the program never starts.

Virtual Drives disappearing on reboot

Hello,

I recently bought Daemon Tools pro advanced, as an upgrade to Daemon Tools lite, and I have noticed that the DTSoft virtual drives disappear when I reboot my machine.
Scsi and IDE drives don't seem to be affected though.
In the version of Daemon Tools lite I was using, the drives persisted on rebooting, and I manually added the drive in Daemon Tools pro.

Is this a bug or is it an intended feature?

- When installing the application and removal of a tick to send anonymous information and start the program (in the settings) is checked to send anonymous information correct
- When you run Image Editor and clicking on the button maximized when to go out and run again, the program is run in a window, correct
- And please include the startup programs and default agent
also I would love a nice view, no transfer of text in Russian (Monty Rowan, Converter ted, as well as the editor preserves the thread) to make one line, please;)
audioobraza when creating the panel of the image (instead of stretching, displayed a question mark, though, and there stretching, consider a minor bug, and the panel defect is obtained, similar to winME
and the translation would replace Russian with the info panel on the dashboard
and lastly, I would like the option Destination shortcuts, and disable them completely removes the dashes to +
that's all, a wonderful forward to a new version of the product, thanks in advance!

Mounting doesn't always work properly.

When I want to watch a film on Windows Media Player after a mounted image file (ISO, NRG, IMG or whatever), the mounting usually starts up automatically as requested. But it doesn't always shows on WMP. Sometimes is does, sometimes not. It's a little bit annoying. Is there something one can do about it?

When I mount an image file (DVD film), it usually starts the Windows Media Player as requested. But there are moments where the mounting does work and sometimes it does not. It's a bit annoying even though the mounting is actually working. Is there a way to do something about it?
